They are the bridges between the intricacies of languages. They hear, see and write words, capture images in another language, that others may also perceive the joy of the written word in a bhaasha they do not know. Without them, the joy of a story might well be imprisoned, only for the enjoyment of a select few. They preserve a katha, the story, its essence. They are Katha's translators.
