Vanajam Ravindran

She retired as Reader from the Faculty of English of Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi. An occasional writer of articles and reviews, she has contributed to journals like In-between and the Indian Review of Books. Her translations from Malayalam have been published in Indian Literature, Katha Prize Stories 5 and The Wordsmiths. For the last book, she has also interviewed M T Vasudevan Nair. Dr Ravindran won the Katha Award for Translation in 1995. She lives in Kozhikode.
Vanajam has translated Katha's Collection of "Basheer Fictions" from Malayalam.
